Adenike obtained a degree in Maths Statistics in 1990 and an MBA in Management in 2003, both from the University of Lagos. She started her career as an Accounts Officer in Unipetrol (which later became Oando Marketing Plc) where she remained for 21 years; serving in various capacities across the group, which provided the basis for a thorough understanding ofthe Oil and Gas downstream business.

Responsibilities over this period included Business and Investment analysis, developing business/marketing plans, developing strategies to operate in a competitive market, enabling supply chain optimisation by driving policy direction, regulatory compliance and continuous review of processes in the dynamic environment of the oil sector.

Adenike’s last role in Oando required her to formulate, implement and monitor strategy in a bid to improve operational efficiency for the global group services.

Some of her achievements in this role include the revamping of the supply chain management process flow to achieve effective and efficient distribution channels to compliment the company brand and goals.

She was also part of the team responsible for the delivery of 2 Rigs – operational and refurbishing for Oando Exploration Services.
After a meritorious career in Oando, Adenike joined Zone 4 Energy in 2015 as General Manager, Supply Chain where she was also responsible forformulating, implementing and monitoring strategy to improve operational efficiency for Sales and Operations.

She also had oversight responsibility for Human Resources.An effective communicator with strong leadership skills, Adenike has a proven track record in the development and implementation of operational tools to drive efficacy and ensure cost savings.
She is able to articulate a vision and interpret objectives while developing mechanisms to achieve same.
Currently serving as Chief Operations Officer for Petrolex Down Stream, Adenike joined Petrolex Oil & Gas Limited in February 2018.
