Lilian possesses over 19 years’ experience in Oil & Gas (Downstream & Upstream) and Marine Operations. Her suite of expertise spans across Legal advisory, Sales, Regulatory Compliance, Government Liaison, Strategic Planning, and Cross-border Trading. Her skill set positions her well to contribute effectively in various capacities within the Romulus Group.
Prior to her joining the Romulus Group in 2010, she had spent 8 years of her career trajectory with the G-Eurafric Group Limited playing a pivotal role in the implementation of best legal processes and system that successfully supported the group’s Dawes Island upstream asset within the OML 54, serving as the Legal Adviser/Company Secretary. She advised on a myriad of downstream business facets– Refined product importation, dedicated tankage/throughputs,
leases of tank-farm facilities, trade lines, and charterparties etc.
Aside her legal expertise, Lilian also assumed wider responsibilities, leading the operations, sales and distribution arm of the group. She contributed significantly to strategy formulation, which, together with her top-notch barrier-breaking skill drove an increase in sales volume, turnover
and improved operational efficiencies.
Lilian is distinguished by her exceptional ability to drive results, as she consistently focuses on bolstering shareholder value and elevating organisation’s overall profitability. She also demonstrates a strong commitment to cost reduction goals, further showcasing her proficiency in financial management.
Lilian holds a Bachelor of Laws degree (LL. B) from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. She also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree in International Business Law, and Maritime Law (PGD) from the University of London. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb), United Kingdom, the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and the Institute of Petroleum and Energy Marketers.
