Storage

The Petrolex Group has invested over $330m in its petroleum products storage facility, which is the largest in sub-Saharan Africa.

Our Mega Oil City houses the state-of-the-art Ibefun tank farm which has a 300-million-litre capacity facility, 30 loading gantries and a 4000-truck capacity trailer park. In conformity with our daring ambitions, we have an expansion plan which will increase the storage capacity of the tank farm to 1.2 billion litres in a few years.
 
There is also a simple fuel management system and scheduled truck loading to organize and ease the supply of products.

Distribution

We are positioned to play a leading role in the distribution of petroleum products around Nigeria.

Our tank farm is equipped to ease the storage of petroleum products and the distribution of these products to various parts of the country.The unique geographical position provides access to the tank farm from the Atlantic Ocean.

We have taken a bold step forward by connecting to the NIGERIA SYSTEM 2B pipeline at Mosimi to aid supply and distribution of petroleum products around the country.

Our procurement of 10 barges, 2 tug boats and a daughter vessel indicates our diversified approach to product distribution. Along the traditional road routes, we have the capacity to engage over 4,000 trucks to aid distribution.

Refining

We have invested in the provision of refining services at the Petrolex Mega Oil City to increase the availability of refined petroleum products. The refinery which should produce about 250,000 barrels per day (bpd) is in line with Nigeria’s self-sufficiency development plan for Nigeria’s energy future.
There is also a simple fuel management system and scheduled truck loading to organize and ease the supply of products.
