Biography
Dr. Segun Olatoyan, Ph.D, FCA, is an accomplished finance executive with over two decades of expertise across banking, public sector finance, and audit consultancy. He currently serves as the Head of Finance for Romulus Group, a diversified conglomerate that includes Petrolex Oil & Gas Ltd.
His distinguished banking career includes senior managerial roles in UBA Plc, Intercontinental Bank Plc, and Access Bank Plc, where he held key positions such as Regional Head of Compliance & Internal Control, Electronic Banking, Customer Care, and Branch Operations. Prior to joining Romulus, he was Chief Accountant at CRFFN, a Federal Government maritime agency.
Dr. Olatoyan is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), an Associate of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and a member of The Institute of Leadership, UK. He has participated in numerous international trainings and conferences on IFRS, IPSAS, and regulatory compliance.
He holds a Ph.D. in Strategic Management from Lead City University, Ibadan; an MBA from the Federal University of Technology, Akure; an MMP from the University of Ibadan; and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management. Dr. Olatoyan is widely respected for his ability to enhance financial integrity, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive performance improvements across business functions.
